训斥、责骂、责备某人，可以用动词scold，也可以用chew out 这个短语。
比如The teacher chewed us out for being late.老师因为我们迟到而训斥我们。
my dad was going to chew me out because of my fail *** e in the exam.我爸爸因为我 *** 失败责骂我。
The boss chewed out the whole team for missing the deadline.老板因为整个团队错过了截止日期而训斥他们。
