in the front of *** /sth，在某人、某物的前面。

in the back of *** /sth，或者at the back of *** /sth在某人、某物的后面。

比如：He was standing in front of me.他站在我前面。

I found it in back of the table.我在桌子后面发现了它。

We sat at the back of the room我们坐在房间后面。
